Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them.
Ask them how the week was; how the school was; friends; teachers;
Do a recap of last
Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who was our Biblical Character? Which
plan did God have for them..to take them from which country to which country?
Who did God send to rescue them? How was Moses case different? The meaning of
the word Moses. Who was the wife of Moses and the name of their child? Who was the king of
Egypt? How many plagues came on Egyptians?(give the children 5 minutes to write down the plagues
not necessarily in the order and recognize/reward the child who gets the most)
Memory Verse? The songs we sang last

Text Gen 17:2And I will make my covenant /promise between me and you (God and Abraham)
and I will multiply you exceedingly
BIBLICAL CHARACTER: ABRAHAM (Father of Nations) his name was changed
from Abram to Abraham. Wife was called Sarah-her name was changed from Sarai to
Sarah. His brother was called Lot. When he was 99 years old, God made a covenant
with him that he shall be a father of many nations yet he did not have a child.
When he was 100 and Sarah was 91 years, they bore a Son called Isaac. God
tempted Abraham and told him to sacrifice his only son at the mountains of
Moriah and he obeyed and as he was about to offer his son as a sacrifice, an
Angel called him and when he turned, he saw a ram which he offered. He called
that mountain JEHOVAH JIREH (sing Father Abraham song)
MEMORY VERSE:
Gen 21:1 .And the Lord visited
Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken.
Objective: Teach and Help the children understand HOW TO WALK IN THE STEPS OF

Tithe
Gen 14:19-20-Abraham gave tithe so because he is our Father, we need to follow him:
to be like Him.

Faith:
Hebrews 11:4-6 ask the children what Faith is and examples from the Bible of
people who had Faith

Hard
work:Gen 12:1;Gen 13:1-2-Abraham was told to leave his country to a strange
Land and he obeyed, worked hard and God Blessed the work of His hands and He
became rich

TRUTH: without Faith we cannot please God
