MARCH 2013: I AM DESTINED FOR EXPLOITS
JOHN 14:12-Verily Verily I say to you: He that believes in
me: the works I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do:
because I go to the Father.
What is Destiny? It is locating our God given assignment on
the earth. THERE is a reason for each
one of us existence/living: there is a reason why God created us.
-What is Exploit? It is to make the most of
-take advantage of
-succeed-it is achieving goals in succession: i.e when you
keep setting goals and achieving them
Our work is to discover the reason why God created us.
Every one of us has a purpose to accomplish on the earth.

WHAT DOES THE
BIBLE SAY ABOUT OUR DESTINY?
Jer 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you
-before you were born, I
set you apart
-I appointed you
as a prophet to the nations
Gen 1:26-Then
God said-let us make man in our own image: in our likeness and let them rule over
the fish of the sea: and the birds
of the air: over the livestock: over all the earth: and over all the creatures that
move along the earth.
Dan 11:32 Those who know (discovered their
assignment/purpose on the earth) their God, shall be strong (how?) and do exploits
John 15:16
You have not choosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you,
that you should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the father
in my name, He may give it to you.
Psa 82:6 I have said, you are gods: and all of you are
children of the most high. God calls us
gods by his word we should rule the earth.
For us to be strong and do exploits, we need to just one
key.
This is the WORD OF
THE LORD. How do we know that? The Bible
says:-
Mat 4:4- Man
shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of
God
Psalm 119:144b
Give me understanding and I shall live
Examples from the Bible who were directly affected by the
word of God:-
Luke 5:1-8
Jesus told Simon to launch into the deep and let down his
net for a catch. What was Simon’s reply?
He gave excuses like most of us do.
We have been here the whole night and have caught no
fish. But JESUS AT YOUR WORD:, I will
let down the net.
WHAT WERE THE
EFFECTS OF THE WORD OF GOD TO SIMON?

They caught a large number of fish and they had
to call others to distribute
·
Because of the increase, their ship began to
sink
·
Simon became a Disciple of Jesus(it build his
trust on Jesus)
DAVID SON OF JESEE

Was a shepherd
·
Played the harp(Musical instrument) for King
Saul

Was called a man after God’s own heart

Wrote the book of Psalm
·
Samuel anointed Him as King after the death of
Saul. Because God does not look at the
Physical but the Heart(1 Sam 16)

Fought Goliath not by the weapon he had but by
the word of God. 1 SAM 17:45) You come
to me with a sword,shield and spear but I come to you in the name of the Lord.
NB: It is important to note that the word of God delivers
only to our level of understanding.
Pro 21:16 says the man that wanders out of the way of
understanding, shall remain in the congregation of the dead

Our understanding of the word should be spiritual:
not ordinary: not common:

Spiritual understanding distinguishes believers
from unsaved

Spiritual understanding differentiate one
believer from another
Mat 13:23 But He that received seed into good
ground is he that hears the word and understands it which also bears fruit and
brings forth some a hundred fold, some
sixty ,some thirty
What then is in
the word of God?
THE TREASURES IN

{Psa 119:89} Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in
heaven.
1.THE
WORD OF GOD EMPOWERS FOR EXPLOITS
The word of God is an open cheque:
Ecc 8:4 where the word of God is, there is power…..to
do all things/exploits
Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the
nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy:
and to throw down, to build and to plant (This means already we are empowered)
Isa 41:10 fear not: for I AM with you: be not dismayed/disappointed/shocked :for
I am your God: I will strengthen you; Yea I will help you:yea I will uphold you
with the right hand of my righteousness
In Rom1:16 Saul was a persecutor of the people of
God. But later He met God(was blind for 3 days) but after this experience, his
name changed to Paul. He went ahead to discover his assignment on the earth and
at the end of the day, he became one of the greatest Disciples of the word of God(He has written 2/3 of the New
Testament)
John 10:35 if He called them gods to whom the word
of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.
Rom
1:16 Paul wrote-I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
for it is the power of God to
salvation to everyone that believes
Eph 6:10-18
Sword of the Spirit is the word of God
Pro {4:23} Keep thy heart with
all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life

THE WORD OF GOD IS CREATIVE
In the beginning, the earth was
without shape:darkenss was there: it was formless. But by the word of God, it was created.

the beginning was the word. And the word
was with God. And the word was God. All
things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made.

So shall my word that goes out of my mouth:
it shall not return to me void/empty but it shall accomplish that which
I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it

..Behold, I will do a new thing.. I will even make a way in the wilderness,

of God-Pharaoh had a hardened heart. He
refused to let the Children of Israel go to the Promised Land.. But the creative word of God brought plagues
into the land of Egypt as God gave it to Moses until Pharaoh surrendered

Centurion’s servant was sick of Palsy.
When he met Jesus, he explained his case to Him then Jesus told Him,
I will come later. Because of the
spiritual understanding of the word, what did the centurion say? Lord, I am not
worthy that you should come under my roof, but speak the word only(creative
word of God)and my servant will be healed.
And the same hour, the servant was healed.
The creative word of God calls
those things that are not as though they were.
Rom
{4:17}
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom
he believed,
[even] God, who quickeneth the
dead, and calleth those things which bee not as though they were.
Joel 3:10b … let the weak say, I
[am] strong.
4.THE
WORD OF GOD IS REPRODUCTIVE/DUPLICATE/HAVE FRUITS(Psa 1:1-3)
The word of God is a seed. It produces.
It gives fruits both in and out of season.
The word of God speaks forever
–from Generation to generation Pro soul shall be far from them
Pro{22:6}
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not
depart from it.
Luke 8:11 Jesus gave a parable of
a sower who went to sow plant seeds-some fell on the wayside
-others fell on the rock
-others fell on the thorns
-others fell on the good ground
When disciples wanted to know the
meaning of the parable Jesus replied to them and said:-
Luke
8:11 –the seed is the WORD OF GOD-Which is reproductive. The word of God which fell on the good
ground, are they which in an honest and good heart having heard the word ,keep
it and bring forth fruit with patience
Gen 8:22-while the earth
remaineth,seedtime and harvest, cold and
heat ,summer and winter ,day and night shall not cease. That means, the word of God shall remain
forever…. And ever
In conclusion, the reproductive
word of God is likened into a mustard seed in Luke 13:18-19
Then He said, to what is the
Kingdom of God like? And where shall I resemble it?
It is like a grain of
Mustard(very small grain),which a man took and cast into His garden and it grew
and became a great tree and the birds of air lived in the Branches of it.
Once we receive the word in our
hearts and apply it in all the departments of our lives, it grows
and others find refuge in us as we do
exploits.
