TOPIC: HOW TO BECOME A SIGN

Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them. Ask them how the week was; how the school Exams/home was; Ask them about their: friends; teachers etc

Do a recap of last Months lessons. Ask the children e.g. (Who were the Biblical Characters for last  Month? Memory Verses?  The songs we sang: Prophetic focus for the  month…..

Introduce the Prophetic Focus for December..Explain another word for SIGN(ask the children for their understanding of SIGN:even in mother tongue-MARK:SYMBOL:SIGNAL:INDICATOR:NOTICE….

Ask the children examples of SIGNS they have seen and which ones were good /they liked and which ones they did not like and why for the answers..good or bad:

Text 1 Sam 10:6-7 The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you in power and you will prophesy with them: and you will be changed into a different person: once these signs are fulfilled do whatever your hands find to do for God is with you.

-who fed Elijah when HE was hiding at Kerith Ravine(east of Jordan)? Ravens

-whose life did he restore? Son of the widow of Zarephath-

Where was he tested whether he was seriving the true God? Mt Carmel

Who tested him?450 prophets of baal:400 prophets of asherah

-How did Elijah Die? HE was taken up to Heaven by wind

MEMORY VERSE  Isa 8:18Behold ,I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders

Objective: Teach and Help the children understand how to become signs

1.       We must be very willing/have desire/thirty like the deer Psam 63:1-3

2.      We must never give up:stay focused like Elisha when he wanted to receive double portion from Elijah(2 Kings 2:9

3.      Pray with all our hearts like Jacob(Gen 32:24-28)

POSITIVE CONFESSION: I am a sign and a wonder in Jesus Name
