Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them. Ask them how the
week was; how the school/ Exams/home
was; Ask them about their: friends; teachers etc
Do a recap of last Month’s
lessons. Ask the children e.g. (Who were the Biblical Characters for last Month? Memory Verses? The songs we sang: Prophetic focus for the month…..
Introduce the Prophetic Focus for
the Year/Month. Ask the Children the meaning of the word Fasting and
Praying. Ask them how many fast and
Pray? Let them share. Ask the Children who,how,and when should one fast?

fast,do not look sad as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to
show men they are fasting.i tell you the truth, they have received their reward
in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face so that it
will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father who is
unseen: and your Father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

heart in seeking the Lord Jer 29:13

Confess our
sins and stop sinning(I John 1:9-10)
