October 2012 Teaching Outline for Midweek Services
Prophetic Focus:  – IT SHALL BE WELL WITH THE RIGHTEOUS Is 3:10
Teaching Series: BASKING IN THE GLORY OF SANCTIFICATION (Part I-IV)

Introduction
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, ….. That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 1Th 4:3-4

“….If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 2Tim 2:19-21

Sanctification is beautiful and Holiness is glorious (Ps 110:2/ Ex 15:11)
How?
It is the gateway to your inheritance – Act 20:32
It takes sanctification to prosper – Ps 112:3
It is profitable unto all things – 1Tim 4:7-8
If God said: “Be ye holy for I am Holy…” (Lev 11:44-45/ 1Pet 1:16) then we can be holy
If Christ said: “Be ye perfect as your heavenly father is perfect..” (Matt 5:48), we can be perfect. God cannot tell us to be what He has not empowered us to be. 1Jn 5:3

Sanctification is a personal responsibility. The Bible demands:
Ø Purge yourself – 2 Tim 2:21
Ø  Purify yourself – 1Jn 3:3
Ø  Keep yourself – 1Jn 5:18
Ø  Hunger and thirst after – Matt 5:6/ Is 51:1-3/ 1Tim 3:7/ 1Pet 1:15/ Jn 8:29
What must I do?
One must remain spiritually engaged. This is what our midweek services will be centering on under the caption Basking In The Glory Of Sanctification.
