Every book is made up of letters, but the Word is made up of Wonders – Ps119:18

Jesus Christ also said, the letter kills but it is the Spirit that gives life, the word I speak unto you they are spirit and life (Jn 6:63). We are also told that we can partake of divine nature through the revelation of the Word – 2Pet 1:4.

Therefore there must be definite virtues in the word and this is what we shall be looking at in our midweek services this month.

  Teaching Series: DISCOVERING THE HIDDEN TREASURES IN THE WORD (Part I-IV)

Introduction:

God’s word is loaded with treasures. For instance, all our inheritance in Christ is hidden in the word (Act 20:32). It is also written that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, but they are only accessible through the knowledge of the truth (2Pet 1:3). This is why the Bible says, my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge (of their inheritance in Christ as revealed in the Bible) (Is 5:13). Among others we have a 7- fold inheritance in Christ which includes: Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honour, Glory and Blessing. (Rev 5:12). As God told Abraham, our inheritance is as far as our eyes can see (Gen 13:14-15). We shall be searching for these treasures in the Word this month.
