Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them.
Ask them how the week was; how the school was; how were the exams? Ask them what numbers they were? friends;
teachers, the fun day.
Do a recap of last
Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who was the Biblical Character? Memory Verses?

BIBLICAL CHARACTER: APOSTLE PAUL:Acts 9:Before he was saved,his

Jesus(ask children to write all the disciples of Jesus)

One day,Soul planned to
kill and slaughter Disciples that were preaching the word of God. He went to
the high priest and asked for permission /letters so that he goes to Damascus
and whoever Disciples/Christians he found preaching the word of God,he may kill
them. On the way to Damascus, a GREAT LIGHT OF GOD FROM HEAVEN came upon
him and immediately ,he fell on the ground and he fell on the ground and he
heard a voice saying:’saul!saul! why do you persecute me?Saul aasked ,who are
you Lord?,and the Lord said,I am Jesus:
Saul trembled,shivered,was
afraid,was shocked:Saul asked Lord,what do you want me to do?he was told,arise
and go to the city and you shall be told what to do.
Saul stayed for 3 days
without sight and neither did he eat or drink.
His name was then changed from Saul to Paul.
MEMORY VERSE
John 1:1-in the beginning was the
word,and the word was with God and the word was God.
Objective: Teach and Help the children understand what is in the word of God.
3)The word of God is our spiritual milk for spiritual milk.(ask
children,when babies take milk,what happens to them?also ask them:which food
does a small child take?what/how does it help?1 Pet 2:2 As newborn
babies,desire /look for the sincere milk of the word(read the word of God
everyday) that you may grow.
4)the word of God gives direction:Psalm119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto
my feet and a light unto my path.(sing the song&this little light of mine)
