Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them.
Ask them how the week was; how the school/home was; Ask them
about their: friends; teachers, the preparations for coming fun day e.g. songs,
Bible Trivia, poem e.t.c.
Do a recap of last
Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who was the Biblical Character?(Woman
with the issue of Blood) Memory Verses? The songs we sang:
Ask the children some of
the people in the Bible who were healed of their diseases by Jesus.

BIBLICAL CHARACTER: Mark 10:46-52 Blind Bartimaeus Receives His sight: Jesus and His
disciples came to Jericho together with a big crowd. And as they were leaving Jericho,
a blind man called Bartimaeus son of Timaeus
was sitting by the roadside begging(ask the children whether they have
seen people begging on the streets)when he heard that Jesus of Nazareth was
passing by, he shouted with a loud voice saying”JESUS!SON OF DAVID!HAVE
MERCY ON ME!.The people who were around him told him to stop shouting but
the more they told him to stop he continued to shout the more at the top of her
voice(SON OF DAVID,HAVE MERCY ON ME! Jesus stopped and said, ‘Call him’.
When he came to Jesus, Jesus asked him, what do you want me to do for you?
Bartimaeus answered “Rabbi, I want to see”. Jesus told him,Go!your faith has
healed you: immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the
road.
