Do a recap of last Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (What was the prophetic Focus for the month of June? Memory Verses? Biblical Characters? Different songs sang.
Text Luke 2:52-And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature (Physique/figure/height) and in favour with God and Men (ask the children the meaning of the word wisdom. In Kiswahili and in mother tongue and ask all the children to learn the word in different languages. Also ask the opposite of the word wisdom (foolish)

(David).which country did they rule (Israel).what did he ask from God? WISDOM (1 Kings 3:1-15) He wrote which book in the Bible? Proverbs.  it has how many chapters? 31.
Jesus went to the wilderness/desert/far place/separated himself and fasted for 40 days and 40 nights (ask the children, how many days do you fast? Then satan came to test Jesus. (1) if you are the son of God, tell these stones to become bread.  Jesus answered .It is written, man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God
(2) then the devil took Jesus to the Holy city and had Him stand on the highest point of the temple.  Then he told Jesus, if you are the son of God, throw yourself down for it is written, God will command His angels to take care of you and they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not hurt your foot on a stone.  Jesus answered, its written “Do not put the Lord your God to the test”.
(3) the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and the beauty. Then he told Jesus, I will give you all this if you will bow down and worship me.  Jesus said”, it is written, worship the Lord your God and serve Him only”
Ask the Children-what did Jesus mean when He said, it’s written? (it means, He knew the word of God from His Heart (hidden the word of God), because it gives Wisdom. It means, Jesus was wise, He did not give into satan’s temptations)
