TOPIC: HOW TO BE IN DIVINE PLAN OF GOD

Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them. Ask them how the week was; how the school was; friends; teachers, the fun day.

Do a recap of last Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who was the Biblical Character? Memory Verses?  The songs we sang: Prophetic Focus:

Text Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path” (teach them the song)

BIBLICAL CHARACTER:4 FISHERMEN WHO BECAME  DISCIPLES OF JESUS: they left all they had to follow Jesus and become fishers of men(sing the song and make the Boys sit when a word with letter M is mentioned and the girls sit when a word with letter F is mentioned)Mat 4:18-22.  They were (Simon Peter and his brother Andrew: James son of Zebedee and his brother John).  The lesson is when they were called by Jesus, they did not continue fishing: they did not prepare or say tomorrow: they immediately left what they were doing and followed Jesus which was God’s divine plan for them.(ask the children who the other disciples are)make it a quiz for them and reward the best of them all.(Mark 3:16-19-Simon(Peter),James son of Zebedee,John,Andrew,Philip,Bartholomew,Mathew,Thomas,James son of Alphaeus,Thaddaeus,Simon the Zealot,Judas Iscariot)

MEMORY VERSE Psalm 23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want (2), and He makes me to lie in green pastures: He leads me beside quiet waters. (3)He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His names sake. (4) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.  Your rod and staff they comfort me. (5)You prepare a table before me.  In the presence of my enemies.  You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows.            (6) Surely, goodness and Mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the presence of the Lord forever and ever Amen

Objective: Teach and Help the children understand HOW TO BE IN DIVINE PLAN OF GOD.

1) We must be willing to be Led by God (Re 3:20)

2) We need divine strength Psalm 84:27

BIBLICAL TRUTH: With God we grow from Strength to Strength (Psa 84:27)

CHALLENGE FACTOR: Does God lead you in everything you do?

POSITIVE CONFESSION: I WILL ALWAYS BE IN THE DIVINE PLAN OF GOD.

TOPIC: HOW TO EXPERIENCE A GLORIOUS DESTINY/FUTURE

Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them. Ask them how the week was; how school is. What they enjoyed most in school and what they did not like.

Do a recap of last Sunday’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who was our Biblical Character? he was from where? Who was the father/mother? Who was the brother and sister? Where was He born and what was happening in that country at that time? Which mountain did God give Moses the assignment to lead the children of Israel? Which mountain did God give Moses the 10 commandments? Memory Verse?

Text Mat 24:35...Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away

BIBLICAL CHARACTER: THEPARABLE OF THE PRODIGAL / (UNCONTROLLED)/ LOST SON) Luke 15:11-32)

Tell the story of the two sons where they younger requested ALL his inheritance and left for a far county.  While there, he wasted all the money (ask the children for suggestions on how a person can waste their money).when the money was over, he started eating the same food with the pigs (ask the children which kind of foods pigs eat) where he was working as a shepherds. One day when he was there, he thought about his home and how there was more than enough food and e decided to go back and tell his father “I have sinned against Heaven and Earth and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son: make me like one of your hired men”.  When the father saw him from a distance, he was filled with compassion and he ran to meet him and ordered the servants to slaughter the fattened calf and the best robe for him and there was a celebration because he was dead but he was now alive and he was lost but now he was alive.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE (HAVE) A GLORIOUS DESTINY-(explain what a Glorious Destiny means)

1.        We must be born again(John 1:12-Yet to all who received Him(born again):to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to be called children of God

2.        We must have DIVINE PRESENCE OF GOD:Exo 23:20-23(God’s Angels will go ahead of us to guard us along the way)

3. We must hide the word of God in our Hearts Joshua 1:8-Do not let this book of the Law depart from your mouth: meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful

·         The Holy Ghost is the custodian of God’s plan on earth – Joel 2:28-32 /Jam 16:12-13)

Ours is a highly visionary Commission and it shows – born of a vision and has continued to be divinely guided till date
