Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them.
Ask them how the week was; how the school was; friends; teachers, the fun day.
Do a recap of last month’s
lessons. Ask the children e.g. (Who were the Biblical Character for different
Sundays last month? Memory Verses? The
songs we sang on different Sundays: Prophetic Focus for last Month:
Text Jer 29:11”For I know the plans I have for you “Says the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
BIBLICAL CHARACTER: MOSES-(means to draw out).Parents-Amram and
Jochebed: His brother Aaron, His sister Miriam: His wife Zipporah: his sons
Gershom and Eliezer: Moses was born in Egypt during the reign of Pharaoh who
ordered all the boy Babies of Israelites to be killed. When He was born, His
mother hid him for 3 months. When He could no longer be hid, the mother made a
basket for him and put it along River Nile where Miriam the Sister watched. One
day when Pharaoh’s daughter came to bath by the River Nile, she saw the Basket
and asked for it and felt mercy when she saw the baby crying. She took Moses to
live and grow in the palace as an adopted son. Miriam suggested to Pharaoh’s
daughter whether she could get for her a nurse/maid to take care of Moses and
she agreed. She then went and took the Mother of Moses.(that is divine Plan of God that Moses
was not killed during birth as Pharaoh had orderd:the sister watched over him
and while in the River, he was not eaten by animals: pharaoh’s daughter saw him
and adopted him: the mother was given the job of taking care of her own son
without the knowledge of the Pharaohs: at Mount Horeb,God appeared to Him and
gave Him the assignment to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt together
with the Brother Aaron: at Mt Sinai God gave Moses the 10 commandments.
MEMORY VERSE:
Rom 8:28.And we know that ALL
things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called
according to His purpose
Objective: Teach and Help the children understand that OUR FUTURE/LIFE IS IN
GOD’S PLAN AND NOT IN OUR PLAN.

CHALLENGE FACTOR: Do we love God? (ask the children how they show that they love God)
