Prophetic focus: I am Destined for Glory – Rom. 8:29-30

General Introduction

You Are a Child of Destiny

- Rom 8:29-30 (2Pet 1:3)                 - Pro 29:18

•   You are a particular child on a particular mission ((2Sam 7:10/ Pro 27:8

Jer 1:5/ Gal 1:15/ Mal 3:6)

• But yours is a glorious destiny – 2Pet 1:3

At the same time you have a spiritual destiny:

• You have a particular Pastor set over you (Jer 3:15-16/ Is 30: 20-21)

• You also have a particular Prophet sent to you (Lk 4:25-27/Hos 12:13)

• You are also under a particular Apostolic covering (1Cor 9:2/ 2Cor 12:12-15)

However, it is your duty to discover your God-assigned Task, your God-ordained Place, the Divine Approach and the Timing of His plan as it relates to you.

From all the above, both your natural and spiritual life will only deliver maximally  when you discover divine plan and follow divine guidance in its pursuit.

Therefore, beware of missing your place – Lk 15:11-32

BUT WHY DO WE NEED VISION?

v  But we must recognize the following:

Ø  That it seems right does not make it right- Pr. 14:12, 16:25

Ø  Even the WORD was purified 7 times in fire - Ps. 12:6

Ø  Therefore we must proof all things - I Thess. 5:20-21, John 10:4-5, II Cor. 11:14

Ø  Because God will only back up His plan for us and not our plan – Jonah 1-3 , John 8:28-29

In our Sunday Services this month, we shall be examining how to access Divine plan and Biblical proofs of a true vision under a series captioned Fulfilling your Glorious Destiny.

Week 1:        Fulfilling Your Glorious Destiny- 2 Pet 1:3      (Part I)

How glorious is your Destiny?

Ü  Through the Abrahamic Covenant-  Gen.22:17-18/Gal 3:13-14,Gen 26:1/12-14, Gal.4:28, John 8:39

Ü  End Time Prophetic  Agenda-  Is. 2:1-3/Micah 4:1-2, Joel 2:21-29/ Is 61:1-7, Hag 2:3-9

Ü  Through the Redemption of your soul - Matt 5:13-15/ Rev 5:12, Matt 11:16/ Matt 12:42, Jn. 14:12/ Jn. 17:18

To determine the authenticity of a vision – I Thess. 5:20-21

§  The word of God is God’s master plan for the saints – Josh. 1:8

§  Every plan for an individual must draw from this source – The Bible. Ecc. 1:9, II Pet. 1:19-22, Is. 55:10-11, Matt.24:35

How to Access Divine Plan

Ø  You must Be Born Again – Jn 1:12/Jn 10:4-5

Ø  You must be  spiritual – 1Cor 2:14/ Ps 25:12

Biblical proofs of a true Vision

Ø  Divine Presence – Ps.23:1-5 / Ex. 23:20-23, John 10:4

Ø  Divine Peace – Ps. 85:8 / Ps. 23:2

How glorious is your Destiny?

Ø  You must connect to Prophetic Unction – Hos 12:10/ Is 30:20-21

Ø  Liberty of spirit – Ex.3:7-10, II Cor. 3:17 /Acts 20:22-23

Ø  Divine Joy – Ps. 89:15 / Ps.16:11
