TOPIC: HOW TO HAVE WINNING FAITH IN LIFE

Welcome All the Children by greeting each one of them. Ask them how the week was; how the school/ Exams/home was; Ask them about their: friends; teachers etc

Do a recap of last week’s lesson. Ask the children e.g. (Who were the Biblical Character? Memory Verse?  The songs we sang: Prophetic focus for the month/YEAR: Ask the Children the meaning of the word FAITH(Heb 11:1.  Ask them how to show that we have Faith/what it means to have Faith. Let them share. Ask the Children Why: who,: how,and when should one have Faith?

BIBLICAL CHARACTER:(Let children suggest examples from the Bible of people who are said to have had Faith e.g Abraham,Abel,Moses,Daniel e.t.c)

DANIEL: Dan 6-had faith in God.  Bring out instances when it was declared that no one  was  to worship /pray the living God but he continued to pray three times a day……he was put in the Den of lions but did not trade his faith in the Living God…

MEMORY VERSE  Heb 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen

Objective: Teach and Help the children understand How to have Winning Faith in life

1.      We must Fast and Pray :-Mat 6:5-7             Mat 6:16-17              Mat 17:20-21

2.      We must a)Hear b)read c)study the word of God everyday Rom 10:17 Eph 5:26                Psalm 119:9-11

3.      We must live a Godly life (ask the children to share  what Godly living means and what non Godly living means to them)

CHALLENGE FACTOR: do you have Faith?

POSITIVE CONFESSION: I Will always have FAITH IN GOD.
